For handling of abrasive parts or materials, the tough stainless-steel overlay provides a smooth wear surface while significantly extending the life of the underlying PVC table top. Materials such as glass bottles or stainless steel parts gain a greater sliding ability during accumulation or transfer operations.
The stainless-steel overlay is installed on new RTA units at the factory. This stainless-steel layer option is not currently available as a field retrofit for accumulators.
