Drippy parts-machining jobs don’t have to soak you
Unattended collection of oily or fluid-soaked machined parts just got a little neater. Our Rotary Table Accumulator (RTA) Model 60-024 currently seems to be most popular of our three sizes to do drippy accumulation jobs — so our new drip-pan option makes its debut for the 24″ model.
The drop-pan option, p/n 60-7027, consists of an easy-to-clean assembly that bolts onto the support column beneath the turntable on the Model 60-024 (24″ diameter). It consists of cross-frame support, removable aluminum pan, drain tube for mounting your collection hose, and a splash guard for the gearmotor support arm. When this option is ordered with your new RTA 60-024 from the factory, we do recommend an IP-65 watertight motor and drip loop in the cable.
To allow fluids to drain, the table surface and/or fence is then drilled on-site by the customer. The size and number of holes should be determined by the size of the machined parts and the amount of anticipated fluid to be drained. The customer-supplied drainage hose and receptacle should also be of sufficient size to deal with the collected fluid volume.
