Amgen ‘Tour of California’ Bike Race Rolls by

Stage 5 of the 2016 Amgen “Tour of California” pro bike race, on May 19, rolled past the Mini-Mover Conveyors campus on the group’s route up the Sierra Nevada mountains to South Lake Tahoe. Our employees got a special break to watch the procession — CHP motorcycle officers, race officials, over 150 riders and scores of following team cars that bristled with spare bicycles on roof-racks. In true Tour fashion, we sounded our cowbells and cheered the riders upward and onward. Stage 5’s total elevation gain (as ridden by these athletes) is 13,000 feet.
