Sterilizing UV Conveyor System with Lite Series Conveyor
The Sterilizing UV Conveyor System, made by Fuller Ultraviolet of Frankfort, Ill., integrates a Mini-Mover Lite Series conveyor and ultraviolet sterilization in a single stand-alone unit. This industrial grade unit encompasses the product area and treats all visible surfaces.
UV light is proven to kill a wide range of bacteria (such as anthrax, typhoid, strep and staph) and viruses (such as E Coli, polio, flu and Covid).
These UV Conveyor Systems were developed for high-volume sterilization of products at a rapid pace. Fuller UV offers two customizable options; ultraviolet integration to an existing conveyor line, or a stand alone conveyor system for separate sterilization processing.
Proper sterilization is accomplished by treating the product(s) surface for a specific period of time. Surface disinfection calculations are computed by determining a) the required amount of micro-watts needed to destroy the target pathogen and b) the amount of time the product is needing to be exposed to ultraviolet radiation. Factors such as, the consistency and type of the product surface, product distance from the UVC rays, and pace of the conveyor, are taken into account to assure the success of disinfection.
