In-Line Waterfall Transfers for Labeling, Counting and More
Waterfall conveyor transfers are not only useful for corner-turn applications. When arranged in-line, two or more shorter conveyors become core modules to form a long waterfalled line. Portable Mini-Mover conveyors are ideal choices for this use.
In-line waterfall transfers are especially useful for assembly, label reading, printing or counting, where the top-most infeed conveyor can run at a slower or faster speed than the outfeed conveyor below it. You gain speed control across the complete horizontal surface — and go faster or slower simultaneously, as needed, down the whole line. And by combining shorter conveyors, your can adjust the overall length on the line.
Later, should the job or application change, you can easily re-purpose your shorter conveyor modules to other jobs on the shop floor. Also see our blog post on 90-degree corner waterfall transfers in which uneven floor space is your challenge: Waterfall Transfers Handle Height Differences
