Tough Conveyors for Metalworking Mfg.

Manufacturing and metalworking can be pretty dirty, with dusts, oils and fluids. Mini-Mover conveyors were designed specifically for factory tasks. These tough little units require no expensive maintenance or heroics to remain reliable. This picture shows an example from one of our customers who manufactures high-volume industrial components. The conveyor has been in regular service for a decade, without any unplanned downtime.

The user’s rotary transfer CNC machine is used with a Mini-Mover Lite Series conveyor to help with damage prevention, as well as to prevent chips from getting into the parts by separation. The conveyor unloads parts for collection on a shallow draining tray. It prevents them from banging against one another — vs. unloaded parts dumped into a bucket. Each part can then get a visual inspection for any immediate imperfections or quality issues – without the dings that can be caused by bulk unloading.
